Nicole Richie, who just announced her engagement, recently appeared on the red carpet wearing an attention-grabbing diamond engagement ring.
When Richie appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman on Monday, the starlet revealed that she and her boyfriend Joel Madden are planning to tie the knot.
The pair have been dating since 2006 and have two children together, their 2-year-old daughter Harlow, and their 5-month-old son Sparrow.
Richie responded to rumors that she and Madden were already married by saying, "We’re not …We actually recently got engaged."
It seems like now that the cat’s out of the bag, Richie feels comfortable wearing her diamond engagement ring in public.
The engagement ring is so gorgeous we don’t know how she refrained from sporting it before! According to HollywoodScoop.com, the sparkly bauble is estimated to be about 4-carats.
"Yep. I’m engaged. Very happy. Yeah we’ve been engaged for a while so [you're] all kind of late on that. But Thanks for the hooplah all the same," Madden tweeted on Monday after the announcement.
