Sparkle Like The Stars

Diane Lane looked fabulous at last Thursday’s Hollywood premier of her latest film Must Love Dogs (co-starring John Cusack). Her candy striped dress was both sexy and sensible given the summer heat, and she seemed downright coquettish and girly! Diane Lane is just one of those actresses who seems to get better and better as she ages. She’s been acting since 1979 but her breakout role didn’t occur until The Perfect Storm in 2000. Truth be told, however, my favorite movie of hers is the little seen and underrated A Walk On the Moon with Viggo Mortense and Liev Schreiber.

Now she’s in Must Love Dogs which seems like the perfect summer date flick. It’s a romantic comedy involving Internet dating and, well… dogs. The movie is light, breezy and fun and gosh darn it if Lane’s outfit did not capture that feeling perfectly! Her choice of necklace was also inspired - a lovely white gold and diamond necklace that acted as the perfect accent to her summery get up.
