Sparkle Like The Stars

The title of this post is absolutely true. Mischa Barton and “Some Russian Girl” are the stars of a movie about two young ladies who fall in love at a t.A.T.u. concert and are drawn into - what else now? - a web of lies, drugs, and murder. This is by far the best news I’ve had all month. Mischa “I Can’t Act, But I Have Nice Legs” Barton, in a drugs n’ lies n’ murder movie, about famed faux-lesbian Russian pop acts of a few years ago. It’s called You and I, which is apparently the name of a t.A.T.u. song, and it premiered at Cannes, of all places, this week. You can bet I’ll be first in the ticket line the minute it gets released over here. I cannot wait.

Doesn’t M.Bart look afraid of Christina Aguilera in this picture? She looks like she’s begging the photographer to rescue her. Her face may be frightened, but her jewelry is adorable. Good bangles are never out of style, and I’m thrilled that cocktail rings are coming back. You can get a look like Mischa’s without the (apparently) disturbing presence of The Aguilera with this yellow gold and white crystal bangle. The band of the bracelet is polished 10 karat gold, and both ends are capped with sparkling crystal hearts. This is a beautiful piece - and a lovely bargain at only $135!
