Sparkle Like The Stars

It seems Mariah Carey took home four big red “V” Vibe awards for her new album The Emancipation of Mimi. That’s all fine and good and aren’t we happy that the Glitter days are over and that she made up with Toni Braxton and whatnot, but still the girl just creeps me out. The boob job, the refusal to enter a London hotel because they had forgotten to roll out a red carpet flanked by the correct number of large white candles by her arrival time, blaming September 11 for Glitter’s miserable failure, it all just adds up to one bitchy diva way too out of touch with reality. Oh, and she dated Tommy MottolaEww.

Nonetheless I’m posting this to show that chandelier earrings have staying power in the world of fashion. While I like the ones Mariah is sporting in this pic, lets just back up slowly before she lashes out at us like the over-excitable lap dog she bathes with and highlight a different pair.

Rhodolite, blue topaz and diamonds and a great chic design. What more could we want? well, maybe for Mariah to quit with those high pitched sequels of hers.
