Kristen Bell has been on a press junket for her latest romantic comedy, "When in Rome," in which she plays an unlucky-in-love curator who encounters a little magic when she attends her sister’s wedding in the eternal city.
However, it seems that in real life Bell has had no trouble getting a ring on her finger. The petite actress was spotted wearing what looked to be a diamond ring on the red carpet, and her rep has since confirmed that she is set to marry her "When in Rome" co-star Dax Shepard.
The two have been dating since 2007, and the 35-year-old Shepard proposed to 29-year-old Bell over the holidays.
While the tall funny-man and the cute-as-a-button actress seem to be a strange pairing, we’ve liked Bell since her "Veronica Mars" days, so Shepard is okay in our book. Especially after we got a look at the ring.
The bauble is a 3-carat emerald-cut diamond set in a platinum band with smaller diamond accents surrounding the main stone. The sparkler was designed by Neil Lane.
