After 15 years as co-host of the “Today” show on NBC, Katie Couric recently announced that she’ll be joining CBS News as Anchor and Managing News Editor. The news on CBS will now be called - get this - The CBS Evening News With Katie Couric! Katie is as smart as she is cute. It’s great to finally see a woman in the Anchor’s chair of the evening news. It’s about time!
