Julia Roberts has charisma and star power, but there’s also something very down to earth and accessible about the perennial leading lady. Somehow, when she wears something, we get the feeling that it would look pretty good on us, too.
That was the case at this year’s Golden Globe Awards. The pretty woman paired a soft-looking simple wrap dress with a statement necklace to end all statement necklaces – Van Cleef & Arpels gold medallion necklace.
The heavy-duty chain and lemon-sized pendant were the perfect complement to the simple black dress. Without the necklace she would have looked a little too casual, but the piece made her look elegant and relaxed.
This is an easy look that you can recreate for yourself in a snap. Just pair your favorite black dress with a long, bold necklace. Robert’s medallion nearly reached her waist, and length is a key component of this look. (Too short and your outfit might just look a tad boring.)
