Jewelry stores robbed, Winona Rider insists she was elsewhere
9 10 2005
Jewelry stores have been targeted recently in a flurry of similar break-ins. But not to worry, everyones favorite shoplifter, Winona Ryder is not included on the suspect list.
Not to condone shoplifting, but it hasn’t turned out so badly for her.
After wearing several numbers by clothing designer Marc Jacobs to court, she’s become his new muse. Winona will be featured in a ad campaign, modeling clothes of the brand she stole! Oh, the delicious irony.
Here she is recently, celebrating with Mr. Marc Jacobs himself, and oh, how I love those earrings. Golden pearls. Absolutely stunning. I don’t know what Winona paid for them (let’s assume for the moment that she did indeed pay) but I found a very similar ones here. At $495 they are an investment that will keep you shining. Have total star style glamor, without the star salary price. That’s what we find for you here. Because we care.

Icegrrl, WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH YOU? First you are encouraging teen suicide with the Marilyn Monroe piece, and now you are encouraging shoplifting? What next? Are you going to find a celebrity who has comitted murder and and encourage that too, if they have good jewelry?
Hey darling, we here in the blogosphere try not to take ourselves or anything else for that matter so seriously. Hopefully everyone understands we are here to have fun, and not be their moral guidance counselors.
Well, we all shoplifting is a crime and I think Winona has paid for that, right? By the way, those drop pearl earrings are so nice and romantic! She looks stunning with them on.
Oh, I forgot: it is probable that she bought those earrings, but it is even more probable that some jewellery brand gave them to her as a gift (this usually happens with celebrities).
Sorry: I forgot the verb ‘know’ in the first sentence
Sorry icegrrl, you’re outnumbered. I agree with Nacha, and I think that you’re excuse, aside from being lame, shows a lack of caring and basic humainty. You can’t just say ‘well, I’m not their guidance counseler, It’s not my problem’.
I don’t know kids, I’m with icegrrl and superqueen. Making fun of celebrities shouldn’t be taken so serious.
ok…I’m going to join in on this one. I agree with Icegrrl. I did not take anythng she said as mean spirited. I for one, think celebrities expect us to talk about them. And…gosh, if I didn’t want anyone making comments about my shoplifting, well…I should have thought about that before the fact.
