Who needs a disco ball when the nation has Jennifer Lopez? The singer heralded in the new year while wearing a sparkling, semi-sheer cat suit on "Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin Eve."
The actress is famous for loving jewelry, but we think that glittering diamond accessories belong on your hands, ears and neck – not your clothes.
After her performance, J.LO threw on a gaudy, furry coat, which had plenty of bling attached to the collar, and flashed her metallic nails while dancing in front of the camera. We’re all about the sparkle on New Years, but we have to say that the whole ensemble was a bit much.
At first we were surprised that J.Lo sported an outfit this loud, but then again, this is Jenny from the Block that we’re talking about. She may have mellowed out, but she (clearly) has not faded away.
Remember that barely-there green dress that shocked the nation in 2000? Well this ridiculous outfit was almost as bad – maybe even worse, because the over-the-top look made her look trashy instead of classy.
Although, it did showcase her famous curves. And we have to admit that Ms. Lopez has definitely still got it. Would you have worn her unconventional iridescent outfit?
