Celebrities love pretending to care, as long as there are lots of cameras around, like there were at the star studded 12th Annual Race to Erase MS (Co-Chaired by Tommy Hilfiger and Nancy Davis)
So, is it time to announce the jewely trend of the evening? Ladies and gentlemen, twist on a classic; fancy hoop earrings. See them being worn here by everyone’s favorite former lesbian, Anne Heche. She’s wearing hoops with diamonds all around like these from ice.com (or there’s the more economical Cubic Zirconia model). 
Carmen Electra had on more ornate hoops, with yellow gold, like these, as did other, less notable celebrities, with various other versions.
Personally, I’m getting a pair of these surprising gorgeous simpler version for the same affect, but a bit more everyday, and lighter for the summer.
Hoop earrings have gone from ironic, anachronistic hipster statement to officially fabulous.
