I do love that dress, but I agree – the neckline is quite bare. A shame, she could have worn so many things with that. Diamonds, emeralds, citrine (for contrast) or amethyst as you suggest.

I don’t know about citrines or emeralds. I would say diamonds (obviously, diamonds go with anything), amethysts, sapphires, or some purpley garnets or rubies
