Sparkle Like The Stars

I had kind of a problem with Cynthia Nixon’s look on Sex and the City. Cynthia Nixon (C.Nix? No, I’m not feeling it) is beautiful and glamorous, but I never felt like she got to show herself off as much as she deserved, although, granted, it’s hard to shine when Sarah Jessica Parker is pulling focus by wearing a pink bikini under a mink coat that has been belted with a python. that said, she might be the best comedic actress of the group. I remember situations of all the characters, but I’m more likely to remember Miranda’s actual lines - and their razor-sharp delivery.

See what I mean about glamorous? Cynthia Nixon has survived breast cancer, coming out, and her fortieth birthday, but she still looks amazing on the red carpet. Redheads aren’t “supposed” to wear red, but she pulls it off without a hitch here. Her hairstyle looks great, and her makeup is as sexy as it can be without being garish. She stepped to the line, but not over. I have mixed feeling about her earrings. They work, but they could be better. I feel like the sticking-out gems make a weird shape that’s slightly distracting. If I were her… I would be rich and famous, and that would be awesome, but also I would have chosen these half carat diamond gold hoop earrings with this outfit. These earrings pair the classic, versatile hoop shape with the sparkle of diamonds without being odd or overdone. Even if you’re not Cynthia Nixon (which, sadly, most of us aren’t,) you can still afford this great look at a bargain $295!
