It was time for some boot action on the red carpet as the stars of country music attended the Academy of Country Music Awards. Country music is cool. However, you can take the singer out of the sticks…but the down home fashion sense is hard to shake.
Take lil’ miss Carolyn Dawn Johnson. She hit the red carpet wearing a dress that looks like a 70s pillow case. I know that American Apparel has made the pillow case dress very popular but this print is just too much! The way the pattern sits on her makes her hips look wider than they are. Her choice of jewelry isn’t so great either. I would have not worn a necklace with this busy pattern. The simple gold chain gets lost. She needs something big and bold to match her dress.
