Ashlee Simpson, in a recent interview, wouldn’t give reporters a straight answer about the rumors that she has had a nose job. According to an AP interview, Ashlee giggled and said, “Everybody’s already saying it, so I just don’t talk about it. I’m like, OK, whatever. It doesn’t bother me.”

Ok, I really don’t care if she’s had plastic surgery. She looks much better in 2006 than she did in 2004. Let me count the ways. One, her color looks human now. I mean, what was up with that redish orange tan-in-a-can color?! It was something we’d expect from Christina Aguilera but not the little sis of peaches ‘n cream Jessica Simpson. Two, Ashlee’s hair has improved as well. I mean, it still could use some work, but it’s much better than that one-tone Cousin Itt inspired hairdo. That hair style was a something you’d find on a really lazy frat boy.

The biggest improvement in Ashlee’s appearance has to be…the earrings! Yes! The girl is wearing some earrings!
