Oh, Amy. You make it so hard to love you. I want to, I really do, but you’ll have to stop marrying criminals, going on incoherent but apparently racist tirades, picking feuds with bad but famous rappers, snorting, shooting, smoking, huffing, puffing, and generally blowing your own house down. She’s so talented, and it’s sad to see her apparently gunning to join the 27 Club. (You know, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrisson…) She also, much like the late Jim Morrisson, can be very pretty when she’s not strung out. Look at her here. She still looks weird – and I know how important that is to her – but pretty weird. Well-put-together weird. Might live another three weeks weird. Her skin is clear, her eyes are focused (on the same thing!) and her jewelry is lovely. Her pendant is classy while still being attention-getting and unique. I’m not crazy that she’s attached it to a string of Mardi Gras beads, but to each her own.
