Even though MTV is ever losing its rebellious relevancy as it continues to be whitewashed by programming as shallow as Paris Hilton, doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy MTV’s beautiful pop culture burnout and its self congradulatory but ultimately meaningless awards shows.
One of the many beautiful people who showed up to the MTV Video Music Awards for some free press, publicity and swag was the always stylish Alicia Keys.
Notice the hoops, the hoop earrings, the multiple bracelets on a single wrist (combining both white and yellow golds) and now, notice the delicate but oh so sexy necklace. It’s the multi-strand and the dtaggered pearls that make it.

Looking good and doing good, Alicia will be perfroming at a benefit concert to help hurricane relief.
Usher, Green Day, Ludacris and Alicia Keys are among the artists who have signed on for a Hurricane Katrina relief concert that will span four cities, three television networks and several musical genres.
Catch it September 10 on MTV, VH1 and CMT.
In other exicting news, on September 23, Alicia will usher back in MTV’s Unplugged series with a little help from her friends, Mos Def, Common and Damian Marley and Maroon 5’s Adam Levine. The show is back on the air after three years of absence.
