Sparkle Like The Stars

Ok, so I have to admit, I didn’t want to like it, but I did. 27 Dresses staring Katherine Hiegel was actually kinda sweet.

Ice.com apparently thought so too because they designed a two entire jewelry collections around it. Check out both the Fashion Jewelry Collection and, of course, the Bridal Jewelry collection.

On each respective page you can see multiple pieces of jewelry paired with stills from the scenes in film where they were worn. I guess that means we can all feel a little bit like a movie star when wearing them, and really, who can say no to that?

What is going ON with the Spice Girls? I understand that they’re English and that’s not their fault, but are you watching this reunion business? Have you SEEN how they’re aging? They don’t look older, exactly, they just look more and more like drag queen versions of themselves. I feel like we’re one big gust of wind away from a wig flying off and some awful “Mrs. Doubtfire” half-drag incident, and frankly, I don’t think I have the strength to survive that, what with the writers’ strike and all.

Check out this recent picture: it looks like a kickline at the Socket Wrench (my personal watering hole) fifteen minutes before closing time. There are only two good things about this picture: the hot Palace guard or whatever, and Posh’s bracelet, which is so classy and tasteful I think she must have put it on by mistake - either that, or her stylist just begged her to put it on so there would be one high point in the photo shoot. With this $50 silver bead and faux pearl bracelet, you can have…a way better look than Posh. You can take the awesome thing her wrist is doing here, and pair it with a decent outfit. Y’all are smart women. You can out-Posh Posh.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy may marry former supermodel-turned-singer Carla Bruni, his new girlfriend, next month. According to CNN, under the headline “Marriage Imminent,” the weekly Le Journal du Dimanche reported that several sources, none of whom it identified, said the two would marry Feb. 8 or 9.

According to a French paper, Sarkozy gave Carla a heart-shaped, pink-diamond ring as a sign of their engagement in December, less than a month after they met. This guy doesn’t waste any time!
