Will and Jada Pinket Smith hit the red carpet at the Oscars with their son Jaden Smith. This father and son team wowed the crowds at the box office and Jada wows us here. She’s beautiful in a lovely citrus color.
The elegant bodice of her gown is very engineered and sophisticated. It has an old world elegance with definitively modern touches. I just can’t get over the color. It’s an amazing shade and looks great on Jada.
The vibrant sunny yellow hue of citrine gives these elegant and romantic 1 1/5 carat emerald cut citrine and diamond earrings in 14K white gold a touch of vivid color just like Jada’s gown! At just $250, sparkling, emerald cut citrines shine amid dazzling diamonds from delicately crafted 14K white gold settings. It’s a great way to play with color in your jewelry wardrobe.

Little Miss Thang, Rinko Kikuchi, hit the red carpet at the Oscars in style. I have no complaints about her outfit! Lovely! Her sparkling black gown is elegant and glamorous. Rinko accessorized it with a stunning bracelet - good! And she donned a show-stopping ring too! Bring on the bling!

Taking cues from Hollywood’s golden age, Rachel Weisz showed up at the Academy Awards this year in shimmery satin. Satin and silk can be some of the most unforgiving fabrics to wear especially if you’ve got some junk in your trunk. However Rachel’s dress just glides over her like smooth cream. It makes a wonderful look - romantic, sexy, and graceful all at the same time. I like the cute bow detail at the neckline of the dress. It’s a wonderful and sweet accent.
Rachel is daring and takes a risk by pairing the already decorated neckline with a big jeweled pendant. I think that she pulls it off very well. Again, pendants and diamond necklaces seem to have made a big comeback this year at the Oscars.
You can get in on the trend with this super elegant 1/3 carat diamond circle swirl pendant in 18K white gold. Covered in dazzling diamonds, this iced out piece is priced at just $995. The pendant features a modern, geometrically inspired design that is really at the fashion forefront. Six contoured diamond studded rings, polished to a mirror-bright glow, are presented on a sleek chain.

Penelope Cruz hit the red carpet at the Oscars wearing a mauve (yeah, I KNOW!) gown with an interesting bodice and LOADS of feathers for the skirt. It has this kind of 1920s feel to it - like an extra long feathery flapper dress. He bodice has an art deco or ocean feel with all those waves. I am just not in love with it - the color, the dress, the feathers. I mean, there are lots of cold birds out there now! Penelope Cruz is a stunningly beautiful woman and bright, vibrant colors really suit her. I don’t know what she was thinking in picking this washed out gown. But I guess in a bright color, this dress would really make you look like a bird.
Penelope forgoes a necklace. Her bodice is fancy enough to go bare, but I think she could have pulled off a little diamond number. Her earrings are marvelous though! If you’d like to get some star quality earrings at a totally affordable price, I’ve found just the deal for you. This pair of 1/3 carat diamond star earrings in 14K white gold is on sale right now at 69% off! The sale price is just $139 - down from $225! Of course the quantities are limited so you don’t want to wait too long on this one. These earrings feature five glistening stones placed in sleekly simple round bezel settings amid gracefully protruding rays of white gold. It creates a dazzling effect that’s perfect for any ensemble.

Reese Witherspoon proves that she can hold her own by herself on the red carpet at the Oscars. I love her dress. It makes her look slim and feminine although it doesn’t do much for her in the chest area. It’s still very sleek and chic! One trend we saw at the Oscars this year (and of course we’ll see the influence in all the fashion magazines for months to come) was an abundance of bracelets. Reese is sparkling in a big, bold diamond number kind of like the one I featured the other day.
If you don’t have a big budget for the kind of Hollwood glamor we see on the red carpet, have I got a deal for you. On SALE now at 66% off, this 1 7/8 carat tanzanite bracelet in 10K white gold is just $169! You’ve got to get a move on because there are limited quantities of this item. With its gorgeous iris-blue hue and increasing rarity, tanzanite is fast making the transition from semi-precious to precious status. This lovely bracelet features three round tanzanites in an exquisite curving white gold setting.

Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts are doing a good job glaming it up at the Academy Awards. They are both perfectly decked out in diamonds! Nicole’s red and Naomi’s pale yellow both suit them both so well! So beautiful! Looking at Nicole it’s easy to see that she was once a model. She so tall! Lucky gal!
If you’re looking for true Hollywood glamor, you’ve gotta get this incredible 15 carat diamond triple row tennis bracelet in 14K white gold! It’s simply stunning and practically a river of diamonds! Now, this look doesn’t come cheap. This bracelet is $12,500 but for the real deal that’s a great price.

If you managed to catch the daytime talkshow The View yesterday, you got to see the beautiful jewelry that audience members walked home with - for free! Why didn’t I know about this giveaway beforehand?! LOL! One of the pieces given away was this stunning 11 carat ruby and sterling silver bracelet with diamond accents. Even though you’re not getting it for free, the retail price I found isn’t bad either -just $95! This vintage-style bracelet combines rubies, diamonds, and sterling silver for a look that is classic and up-to-date all at once. Beautiful oval faceted rubies are prong-set in sterling silver and accented with two rose cut diamonds. With this bracelet you’ll really be sparkling like the stars of The View!

Naomia Campbell showed up to a NYC sanitation garage on Monday to start her five day stint of community service for attacking her former assistant with a cell phone. According to reports the 36 year old supermodel arrived at the garage wearing wearing black stilettos and slinging dark work boots over her shoulder. She also wore chocolate brown pants, a short fitted coat with a flared bottom, dark sunglasses and a newsboy-type cap over a short hairdo. Girl’s got style. I think that lesson learned here is that even when life gets you down, that’s no excuse to be a slob.
From scrubbing floors, to filing papers, and a million other tough jobs, these 1/2 carat natural yellow and white diamond earrings in 14K white gold are the perfect accessory for a busy, modern woman. They’ll take you from the boardroom to the ballroom - and maybe even the bedroom! Paired with a smart suit, these earrings are all business. Put on a cocktail dress and they’re ready to sparkle and shine as you work the room. At just $395, they give you a lot of bang for your buck too!

Joan Rivers turned up to the Oscars as the lady in red - and I like it. Ok, so my favorite thing that Joan Rivers ever did was the voice of that robot in Spaceballs. Remember that? Anyway, this dress is fun! Fun! Fun! I hope that’s not real fur though - surely it’s not! I love the purple shoes paired with the red dress. It’s a little like a first grade Valentine’s Day party but that’s fun too! But Joan, dear, lay off the plastic surgery - you’re beginning to look a little scary.
A great way to get a touch or Hollywood glamor and beautiful red color in your outfit is with this garnet and sterling silver cross pendant. Not just for religious occasions, the cross pendant is a staple of the fashion fast lane. From rock stars to runway models, the cross pendant is hot! This one features luscious red garnets for just $65. It’s really a bargain piece at that price!

This St Patrick’s Day don’t forget to wear something green to keep you from being pinched and to bring you the luck of the Irish! A traditional Turkish design, Evil Eye beads are reputed to protect the wearer from envious gazes. In this vividly colored bracelet, green hued glass beads with the signature eye formation in their centers gleam from sterling silver settings. The price is right too at just $25! It’s a fun mix of cultural traditions that is sure to make any day a little better and more colorful!

Kelly Preston and John Travolta get a little wild on the red carpet at the Oscars. Kelly dons a (ok, I am just going to say it) ugly, trashy animal print dress. What is up with that?! Animal prints are so ewwwww. Ok, maybe for accessories a little animal print is ok and ironic even. But her dress makes her look like a hooker.
If you want to always appear classy and well dressed, then you need to wear an elegant pearl necklace. Of course, even a pearl necklace won’t help Kelly’s dress. She needs to take that thing out of her closet right now and burn it. I mean, she shouldn’t even wear it for Halloween or to a freakin’ Tupperware party! Out! This lovely Akoya cultured pearl necklace for just $250 is the perfect thing to add a classy touch to any outfit. Perfect for the office, weddings, religious occasions, or a picnic in the park, this necklace is very versatile…and did I mention classy?!

Elisabeth Shue hit the red carpet at the Oscars wearing classic black. Her dress reminds me of one that Audrey Hepburn wore in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Ok, it vaguely reminds me of it. The dress doesn’t fit Elisabeth very well and ends up looking like a big black potato sack. The part at her arms is especially bad - see how it makes her boobs look lumpy because of the way it gathers under her arms. But by far the worst part is her hair! What’s up with that? She would have done better to pull it back and show some neck to create a more slender line. Her hair just seems too heavy - and frumpy. She looks like a desperate housewife - but not in a good way if you know what I mean.
If you’re trying to put together a classic black and white ensemble you should really get these 3/4 carat diamond and black rhodium earrings in 14K white gold. This attractive pair of diamond earrings will always be appropriate and adds elegance to any outfit even if your hair do doesn’t!

Jessica Biel hit the red carpet at the Academy Awards in bright pink - fuchsia even! She looks great and super shapy in the design. The color block of pink and black hints at the 80s. Retro 80s is very in right now - but you have to do it in a classy way though!
Speaking of a classy combination, this super elegant 2 3/8 carat black and white diamond ring in 18K white gold is a knockout! It features Moonlight (black) diamonds that get their deep beauty from a special irradiation process. They are paired with traditional white diamonds and crafted into a dramatic design.

Jennifer Lopez and her hubby Marc Anthony (such an odd couple) are all glamed out for the Oscars. Jennifer is classic Hollywood - very Elizabeth Taylor, no? - while Marc Anthony tries not to look like a vampire. Yikes! Maybe we should wear garlic and crosses around our necks instead of diamonds at the Academy Awards! I am so bad!
Now J Lo has a dump truck load of diamonds on. Her back probably hurt from carrying all that extra weight around - such a chore! Anyway, not all of us have jewelry companies throwing diamonds at us, so we have to go the sensible route when shopping for diamonds. Versatility and practicality do count for something! These 1.8 carat diamond earrings in 14K white gold are a perfect way to add sparkle to any ensemble without breaking the bank! At just $95, these earrings are totally affordable. These earrings enhance your everyday look with the glamor of diamonds in stylishly modern settings. Gleaming white gold is beautifully crafted in graceful swooping designs above dazzling diamonds.

Forest Whitaker and his wife Keisha make a sweet and sparkly duo on the red carpet at the Oscars. Forest took home the prize for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in The Last King of Scotland.
While Forest has the outstanding performance, his wife is who stands out on the red carpet. Forest looks great in his classic tux, but Keisha is a knockout in her lemon colored gown with glamorous embroidery. She’s a vision of spring! She knows her accessories too! Just look at that bracelet!
You can get a bit of yellow elegance for yourself for just $75 with this beautiful sterling silver yellow jade and flower quartz ring. The intricately carved jade is so unique and will add floral elegance to any outfit!

It’s rare that a former Vice President shows up for the Oscars - but even more special that they win. Al Gore and team won an Oscar for their work on An Inconvenient Truth, a documentary about climate change that scared the bejeepers out of me.
Al Gore and Tipper Gore look great here on the red carpet. Al looks dapper in a classic tux and Tipper is classy in her brown gown. Brown was a very popular color this year. Tipper paired her outfit with beautiful gold earrings. She made a great choice and when without a necklace. The neckline of her gown is dramatic enough and a necklace would have been too much.
If you love elegant shades of brown too, nothing beats this 4 3/8 carat brown diamonds on black rhodium and cabochon smokey quartz ring. Brown diamonds are very rare, and very attractive. Most brown diamonds are natural rather than enhanced. Crafted in cool white gold, and studded with brown diamonds a spectacular oval cabochon smokey quartz takes center stage in this fabulous ring.
