Sparkle Like The Stars

I confess, I have a total girl-crush on Angelina Jolie. Ever since her tour-de-force performance in Gia, I’ve been spell bound. Gorgeous, and talented, so so sexy, and trying to better the world on top of it all. It just doesn’t get much better.

On September 14, MTV will air “The Diary of Angelina Jolie & Dr. Jeffrey Sachs in Africa”, which follows their trip to Kenya, where they worked to eliminate poverty, hunger and disease.

She is currently filming The Good Shepherd with Robert Dino and recently adopted a daughter, Zahava, from Ethiopia in addition to her 4 year old Cambodian son, Maddox.

Between working with refugee’s, being a UN goodwill ambassador, adopting kids from 3rd world countries and filmming documentaries in remote villages in Kenya I can’t figure out how she still has time to work in Hollywood anymore (although I have a hunch it’s called full time help). Somehow she does it all, and manages to look fabulous at the same time.

So often, glamour is all about simplicity. In the photo above, she is sizzling in a pair of simple white gold hoops like these on the left.

That having been said, don’t be afraid to go with something with a little more oomph like sterling silver puffed hoops these to the right (which sell for $25, who are you kidding by not owning a pair?)

Apparently not a match made in heaven.

Marilyn Monroe fretted over a relationship with then-Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy and had a one-night stand with actress Joan Crawford that left her cold.

Monroe also thought sex with former spouse and playwright Arthur Miller was just “so-so” and maintained a deep affection for ex-husband Joe DiMaggio. But she credited her psychiatrist with teaching her how to achieve orgasm.

The Los Angeles Times revealed a few glimpses into Monroe’s mind on Friday in excerpts of tape recordings the sex symbol and actress is said to have secretly made for her psychiatrist in the days before she died at the age of 36 in 1962.

The Times said it obtained a written record of the tapes from the only person still alive who claims to have heard them — former prosecutor John Miner, 86, who says the recordings support his belief Monroe was a victim of foul play.

(Note to self: When I become irresistibly famous, destroy all sex tapes of self and Johnny Depp, Anais Nin-like diaries, and evidence of affair with JFK Jr., lest it all be revealed years after my sudden and tragic death. )

Suicide or foul play, if you think about it in terms of celebrity, dying young was a great career move for Marilyn. Our eternal image of her is young, sensitive and hauntingly sexual and we never have to see her grow into an old, shut-in shell of her former glory wearing way too much make up and giving a crazy-lady-with-14 cats-next-door speech when she accepts her lifetime achievement award. This way she has eternal mystique, like James Dean and Jim Morrison.

But Marilyn, blessed with an early death and therefore an eternal, undeniable mystique, will always be youthful and glamorous. Part of her glamour was, undoubtedly her accessorizing skills. Generally in either a necklace or earrings, she would pick one stunning piece and it, and her low cut dress, would do all the talking. In the photo above she’s pulling off that glamorously casual look brilliantly in chandelier earrings like the ones below.

Kate Hudson doesn’t believe monogamy is “realistic” according to recent interviews, although she quickly followed up with a “But, I believe that we, as people, have the power to make it happen.” I have no idea what those two statements taken together are supposed to mean, but she was a little too eager to talk about how she and husband Chris Robinson keep things spicy by flirting and renting hotel rooms and whatnot. I could not help thinking all is not well in paradise. I’ve always been under the impression that how much time public figures spend talking about their sex lives is inversely proportional to how much sex they are actually having. But what do I know?

Like a true rock-star wife, the former Ms. Penny Lane said the following romantic statement when asked of her husband’s fidelity:

If for some reason, that’s what he has to go do, I just don’t want to know. As long as things are good in our house, just please, don’t get caught.

Well, hey Kate, whatever works for you. Still, she looks like she’s doing her best to keep her man - wearing this negligee dress, that, I swear, I saw in the Victoria’s Secret catalogue. Not exactly appropriate for church, huh?

Now people, notice the bracelets. Everyone thinks that summer time demands light and dainty Jewelry. But that’s totally untrue, especially during hot sultry evenings (or Hollywood film premieres). The heat can often make you absolutely brazen, and there’s no reason for your Jewelry not to reflect that, oh so stylishly.

Imagining that you are the Scarlett Johansson. You are driving in Los Angeles and you are happy go lucky because you are getting ready for the releasing of your latest film called The Island. Then suddenly you are seeing a billboard of you and your boobies, they have been made bigger in the Photoshop and you are asking yourself, “Hey? Are the boobies of me that big?” You are so stunned that you are almost get into accident! Well that is what almost happened to the Scarlett Johansson!

I was driving through Los Angeles and I look up and see the biggest photo of me I have ever seen in my life on a massive ad space. I screamed and slammed on the brakes, I couldn’t believe it It’s very strange to see my cleavage the size of a brontosaurus. My breasts were huge …

Well the Scarlett, she is hokey dokey. Her new movie, maybe not so ok. It has opened the last weekend and it only made $12 millions on the box office. Also the costar of the Scarlett, Ewan McGregor, she said that he is kissed her in the movie like a 16 year old schoolboy. The Rahulio assumes that means he is kissing not so, so magnifico.

But the Scarlett she is gaining strength from the adversity. Does she giving up? No! Oh no, no, no. If she cannot be in so, so magnifico movioe with mans who kiss well then she will at least looking cute and radiant all the times. Do you see this photo of the Scarlett Johansson? She is at the premiere of The Island in Los Angeles. Does she looking radiant? Does she looking like she is thinking about the bad kisses of the Ewan?
